PIN help

This is a secure site. In order to access this site, you must first sign on to the system with two unique numbers:

  • An ID number, which is your System Member ID (SMID) Social Security (SSN) or Social Insurance Number (SIN).
  • A PIN (Personal Identification Number).

Note: If you have previously accessed the U-Haul Human Resources Service Center, the same PIN is used to access this site.

The first time you sign onto the system (having not previously accessed the HR Service Center) you will enter your Social Security or Social Insurance Number (SSN/SIN) as your ID number, and the system is designed to recognize your birthday as your start-up PIN number. Enter your Social Security or Social Insurance Number without dashes, and your birthday must be entered as year, month, day (YYMMDD). For example, if your birthday is June 17, 1971 your start-up PIN will be 710617.

As soon as the system validates your Social Security or Social Insurance Number and birthdate, you will be taken to a screen that requires you to assign a new PIN (up to 10 characters). This is for added security. Once you have changed your PIN, you will be taken back to the Sign In screen, where you may then re-enter your SSN/SIN and new PIN to sign in. This process will only happen the first time you sign in.

Each time you access this site the Sign In screen will require you to enter your System Member ID (SMID), Social Security Number (SSN) or Social Insurance Number (SIN) plus your PIN.

If for any reason you want to change your PIN, just go to the HR Service Center PIN Change Screen at:

www.uhaullife.com

Once you have gained access to the system. There is no limit to how often you can change your PIN. It is recommended that you do so frequently for additional security.
